Syndicate Bank has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.

The Bank has reported a net loss of Rs 2195.12 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to a net profit of Rs 103.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the Bank has decreased by 12.54% at Rs 6046 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 6913.09 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the Bank has posted a net loss of Rs 3222.84 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 358.95 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of the Bank decreased by 7.10% at Rs 24581.85 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 26461.18 crore for the period ended March 31, 2017.
