NHPC has declared commercial operation of Unit No. 2 and Unit No. 3 of Kishanganga HE Project (3 x 110 MW), Jammu & Kashmir with effect from May 24, 2018.
With the commercial operation of Unit 2 and Unit 3 of Kishanganga HE Project, all three units (3X110 MW) of Kishanganga HE Project have been commercially operated.
NHPC is engaged in electricity generation. The company is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
