Dish TV has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.
The company has reported a net loss of Rs 214.72 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to net profit of Rs 4.85 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the company reported over 2-fold jump in its total income at Rs 986.30 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 460.80 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported a net profit at Rs 121.25 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to net loss of Rs 24.47 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. The company reported over 2-fold jump its total consolidated income at Rs 1,545.11 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 732.36 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a fall of 80.14% in its net profit at Rs 33.34 crore as compared to Rs 167.89 crore for the previous year. However, total income of company increased by 45.12% at Rs 2,923.92 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 2,014.87 crore for year ended March 31, 2017.
For the year ended March 31, 2018, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a net loss of Rs 75.04 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 92.06 crore for the previous year. Total income of company increased by 52.42% at Rs 4,688.32 crore for the year under review as compared to Rs 3,075.88 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.
