Indian Overseas Bank has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.
The bank has reported a net loss of Rs 3,606.73 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to net loss of Rs 646.66 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank marginally increased by 2.70% at Rs 5,814.42 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 5,661.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.
For the year ended March 31, 2018, the bank has posted a net loss of Rs 6,299.49 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 3,416.74 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank decreased 6.19% at Rs 21,661.65 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 23,091.25 crore for year ended March 31, 2017.
