Tata Motors inks MoU with Maharashtra Govt to promote e-mobility

Tata Motors has inked pact with the Maharashtra Government for deployment of 1000 Electric Vehicles (EV) across its range of passenger and commercial vehicles in the State.

The company has also signed agreement with Tata group company, Tata Power to set up of EV Charging Stations in Maharashtra. This MoU will enhance the Maharashtra Electric Vehicle Policy 2018 in accelerating the adoption of EVs in the State.

Tata Motors is India’s largest automobile company. Through subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. Among them is Jaguar Land Rover, the business comprising the two iconic British brands.
