Om Metals Infraprojects in joint venture (JV) with Patel Engineering, has bagged a contract worth around Rs 92 crore from Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO), on upstream of power house pertaining to phase 1 of Kundah Pump storage Hydro Electric project (1x125 MW) in Nilgiri district. The project is for Design engineering supply transport execution and commissioning of all components of Hydro Mechanical works and steel liner for pressure shaft and penstocks.
Earlier, the company has successfully executed one project in Kameng in the state of Arunachal Pradesh for North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) of similar nature.
