Lemon Tree Hotels soars on signing license agreement for property at Gwalior

Lemon Tree Hotels is currently trading at Rs. 71.35, up by 0.95 points or 1.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 70.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 70.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 72.05 and Rs. 70.80 respectively. So far 14852 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 91.00 on 23-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 57.30 on 09-Apr-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 77.20 and Rs. 69.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5536.35 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 31.07%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 53.74% and 15.20% respectively.

Lemon Tree Hotels has signed a license agreement for a 104 room property at Gwalior in the state of Madhya Pradesh under the company’s brand ‘Lemon Tree Hotel’.

The hotel is expected to be operational by June, 2020. The company’s hotel management arm -- Carnation Hotel -- will be operating and marketing this Hotel.

Lemon Tree Hotels is India’s largest hotel chain in the mid-priced hotel sector, and the third largest overall, on the basis of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms, as of June 30, 2017.
