In a bid to improve its offerings in engineering services, Mahindra Satyam is in discussions to acquire a European aerospace engineering firm, as mentioned in a media report. Leading global consulting and IT services provider, Mahindra Satyam, is expected to finalize the transaction in a couple of months.
The company is planning to complete two acquisitions by the end of the year, and for this it has earmarked an investment worth Rs 800 crore. Further, an aerospace acquisition will also help the company to strengthen its grip in aeronautics.
Recently, Mahindra Satyam launched a new accelerated framework 'Apparel & Fashion xPress' for Oracle Retail implementations. Apparel & Fashion xPress caters to specific business functionality requirements of Mid-market Fashion and Apparel Retailers in the areas of global sourcing and procurement. Mahindra Satyam Oracle Retail Apparel & Fashion xPress would help those retailers who are aiming for growth through international expansion.
