IL&FS Engineering gains on securing contract worth Rs 394.30 crore from DLF

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company is currently trading at Rs. 61.95, up by 0.60 points or 0.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 61.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 60.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 63.50 and Rs. 60.20 respectively. So far 41822 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 148.90 on 21-Jul-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 49.05 on 02-Jan-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 66.85 and Rs. 60.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 466.54 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.56% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.09% and 61.34% respectively.  

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company has been awarded a turnkey EPC contract by DLF for a value of Rs 394.30 crore for construction of High Speed HUDA Sector Road starting from NH-8 to Sector 55/56 at Gurgaon.

The project is to be completed in 18 months from the date of commencement of work with a maintenance period of 5 years.

IL&FS Engineering is engaged in infrastructure development, construction and project management. The company has undertaken projects in segments such as roads/ expressways/ highways, buildings and industrial structures, irrigation canals and dams and thermal and hydel power.
