NHPC has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) for Kishanganga HE Project (3X110MW). The agreement is for a period of 35 years from the date of commercial operation (COD) of last unit of the said project.
NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
