IndusInd Bank (IBL) has signed a definitive share purchase agreement with Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services (IL&FS) and other minority shareholders to acquire 100% of IL&FS Securities Services (ISSL); IL&FS’s subsidiary specializing in the capital markets business. The Reserve Bank of India has granted approval for the proposed transaction.
IBL, which commenced operations in 1994, caters to the needs of both consumer and corporate customers. As on June 30, 2017, IndusInd Bank has 1210 branches, and 2090 ATMs spread across 687 geographical locations of the country.
