SRF jumps on commissioning flexible multipurpose plant located at Gujarat

SRF is currently trading at Rs. 227.75, up by 7.25 points or 3.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 220.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 229.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 234.10 and Rs. 225.00 respectively. So far 8,429 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 330.50 on 21-Jul-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 192.15 on 27-Jun-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 234.10 and Rs. 212.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,378.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.95% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.34% and 26.70% respectively.

SRF has commissioned and capitalized flexible multipurpose plant used for production of Fluorochemicals on July 01, 2012. Besides, the company has also commissioned and capitalized intermediate specialty plant and first phase of captive power plant with a capacity of 4MW.

These projects are located at Dahej in Gujarat and are built at an aggregate cost of approximately Rs 250 crore.

SRF is a leader in refrigerants, engineering plastics and industrial yarns in India. The company also manufactures polyester films and fluoro specialties. Besides India, SRF has a presence in Dubai, South Africa and Thailand.
