MBL Infrastructure reports around 22 fold jump in Q4 net profit

MBL Infrastructure has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018. 

The company has reported a rise of around 22 fold in its net profit at Rs 301.85 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 13.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 58.81% at Rs 265.57 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 644.81 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 239.02 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 65.14 crore for the previous year. However, total income of company decreased 76.37% at Rs 545.35 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 2,307.68 crore for year ended March 31, 2017.

MBL Infrastructures is engaged in the construction and maintenance of roads and highways, industrial infrastructure projects and other civil engineering projects for various government bodies and other clients.
