Andhra Bank surges on planning to raise funds

Andhra Bank is currently trading at Rs. 32.30, up by 0.85 points or 2.70% from its previous closing of Rs. 31.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 31.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 32.85 and Rs. 31.05 respectively. So far 230550 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 73.45 on 26-Oct-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 31.05 on 28-Jun-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 33.00 and Rs. 31.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3908.19 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 77.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.23% and 9.78% respectively.

Andhra Bank is planning to raise funds by the way of Preferential Issue, Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), Follow-on Public Offer etc. The Board of Directors of the Bank at their meeting scheduled to be held on July 10, 2018, will consider the same.
