Chemfab Alkalis has suspended operations of one of the company's Plants situated at Ongole, in the State of Andhra Pradesh, from July 10, 2018 for the purpose/s of both Annual Maintenance and clearing of accumulated Stocks.

Chemfab Alkalis is the first Chloralkali Plant in India, to introduce and successfully implement Ion Exchange Membrane Cell technology for Chlor-alkali production, in 1985.
