Adani Green Energy moves up on bagging tenders for setting up solar generation projects

Adani Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 31.45, up by 0.30 points or 0.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 31.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 32.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 32.55 and Rs. 31.20 respectively. So far 45787 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 33.45 on 11-Jul-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 22.75 on 02-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 33.45 and Rs. 30.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4911.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 86.58%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.18% and 2.24% respectively.

Adani Green Energy (AGEL) through its wholly owned subsidiary, Mahoba Solar (UP), has won tenders for setting up 300 MWac solar generation projects. In the tender floated by Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), it won 250 MWac solar generation projects to be set up in the State of Uttar Pradesh and supply power to Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation. The fixed PPA tariff is Rs 3.48/kWh for a period of 25 years. The Project is expected to be commissioned by Q3 FY 2020.

Separately, it has won a tender for 50 MWac solar generation project to be set up anywhere in India and connected through Inter State Transmission System (ISTS). The tender was floated by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and which shall also be the PPA counterparty. The fixed PPA tariff is Rs 2.54/kWh for a period of 25 years. Project is expected to be commissioned by Q2 FY 2021.
