Allahabad Bank proposes to sell non-core assets

Allahabad Bank has proposed to sell its non-core assets including divestments of its stake in Joint ventures, associates, selling some of the immovable properties owned by the Bank. 

In compliance with the Government of India directives under PSBs Reform Agenda, the Bank has initiated various steps to leverage its strengths for focusing on its core business and as a part of its said initiatives, the Bank is planning to sell its non-core assets.

Allahabad Bank is a nationalised bank with its headquarters in Kolkata. It is the oldest joint stock bank in India.
