SpiceJet gains on planning to enter into business partnerships with US companies

Spicejet is currently trading at Rs. 114.20, up by 0.75 points or 0.66% from its previous closing of Rs. 113.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 114.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 117.00 and Rs. 113.20 respectively. So far 1243912 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 156.25 on 20-Dec-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 92.00 on 21-May-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 117.60 and Rs. 109.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6821.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.03%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.73% and 28.24% respectively.

SpiceJet is planning to enter into major business partnerships with two American companies, including a US airline. The company is exploring an alliance with a major international carrier and also with another major American company. The company is looking more at the collaboration in terms of improving the operating performance, of finding a new technology to improve consumer experience.

SpiceJet is among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector.
