Exide Industries has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2012.
The company has registered a fall of 6.87% in its net profit after tax at Rs 152.03 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 163.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 22.63% at Rs 1568.32 crore for Q1FY13 as compared Rs 1278.95 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
Exide Industries manufactures a wide range of storage batteries with 2.5 Ah to 20,400 Ah capacities.
