Indian Overseas Bank has reported a net loss of Rs 919.44 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2018 under review as against to net loss of Rs 499.09 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the Bank increased by 2.94% at Rs 5,326.71 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 5,174.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
The Bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal increased to 25.64%, as compared to 23.60% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 15.10% in Q1FY19.
