Central Bank of India’s net loss widens to Rs 1,522.24 crore in Q1

Central Bank of India has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2018.

The Bank has reported a net loss of Rs 1,522.24 crore for the quarter under review as against a net loss of Rs 576.76 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank decreased by 14.06% at Rs 5,904.82 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 6,870.78 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal increased to 22.17%, as compared to 18.23% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 10.58% in Q1FY19.
