Lloyds Metals and Energy zooms on reporting 94% jump in Q1 net profit

Lloyds Metals & Energy is currently trading at Rs. 15.50, up by 0.90 points or 6.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 14.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 14.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 16.10 and Rs. 14.57 respectively. So far 156503 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 22.95 on 06-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 11.50 on 28-Jun-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 16.10 and Rs. 13.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 350.57 crore.

The company has reported 94.32% jump in its net profit at Rs 10.26 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2018 as compared to Rs 5.28 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 25.42% at Rs 142.82 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 113.87 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Lloyds Metals and Energy is a coal based sponge iron producer. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of sponge Iron and steel, and generation/distribution of Power.
