Dena Bank’s net loss widens to Rs 721.71 crore in Q1

Dena Bank has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2018.

The Bank has reported a net loss of Rs 721.71 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 132.65 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank decreased by 8.02% at Rs 2,410.01 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 2,620.28 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal increased to 22.69%, as compared to 17.37% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 11.04% in Q1FY19.
