Minda Corporation inches up on reporting 63% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Minda Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 159.10, up by 0.20 points or 0.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 158.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 163.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 163.45 and Rs. 152.50 respectively. So far 49338 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 229.00 on 27-Dec-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 98.80 on 11-Aug-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 163.45 and Rs. 152.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3626.47 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.67%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.62% and 22.70% respectively.

The company has reported 2-fold jump in its net profit of Rs 16.89 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2018 as compared to Rs 8.38 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 31.07% at Rs 267.36 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 203.98 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 63.29% in its net profit of Rs 37.59 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 23.02 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 25.11% at Rs 782.91 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 625.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
