Urja Global has received an approval to raise funds through issuance of green bonds upto $500 million for financing the renewable energy projects and e-rickshaws. The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held on August 11, 2018, approved the same.

Urja Global is a non-renewable and renewable energy developer and operator. It is engaged in design, consultancy, integration, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of off-grid and grid connected solar power plants.
