Engineers India rises on getting nod to acquire entire stake of PDIL

Engineers India is currently trading at Rs. 125.95, up by 1.20 points or 0.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 124.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 126.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 127.40 and Rs. 125.20 respectively. So far 40590 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 206.20 on 26-Dec-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 117.90 on 19-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 128.70 and Rs. 120.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7952.61 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.02%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.56% and 16.43% respectively.

Engineers India has received an approval for acquisition of 100% paid-up share capital of Projects and Development India (PDIL) from President of India, acting through the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. The Board of Directors of the company in its meeting held on September 13, 2018, approved the same and given the approval of bidding the same by way of Share Acquisition Route.

Engineers India Ltd is engaged in the business of providing engineering and related technical services for petroleum refineries and other industrial projects.
