Bank of Baroda’s board will be considering amalgamation with Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank. The bank has received a communication from Ministry of Finance, Government of India (GOI) that the Alternative Mechanism (AM) after consultation with Reserve Bank of India (RBI), has decided that Bank of Baroda, Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank may consider amalgamation of the three Banks.
Bank of Baroda is engaged in providing various services, such as personal banking, corporate banking, international banking, small and medium enterprise (SME) banking, rural banking, non-resident Indian (NRI) services and treasury services.
