State Bank of India gains on planning to install solar panels over 10,000 ATMs in 2 years

State Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 276.05, up by 2.05 points or 0.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 274.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 276.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 278.00 and Rs. 271.35 respectively. So far 1102398 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 351.50 on 26-Oct-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 232.00 on 27-Apr-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 291.45 and Rs. 271.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 245247.67 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.47%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.88% and 7.65% respectively.

State Bank of India (SBI) is planning to install solar panels over around 10,000 ATMs across the country in the next two years, with an aim to become carbon neutral. Presently, the Bank's nearly 1,200 ATMs are running on solar power.

SBI is the country’s largest lender and it offers a wide range of services in the Personal Banking, Agriculture/ Rural, NRI services, SME and Corporate Banking etc.
