Minda Industries shines on getting nod to set up 2 Wheeler Alloy Wheel Plant

Minda Industries is currently trading at Rs. 378.80, up by 17.55 points or 4.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 361.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 377.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 384.15 and Rs. 372.30 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 455.00 on 11-Jul-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 266.68 on 26-Oct-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 385.00 and Rs. 345.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9472.59 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.98%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.22% and 13.80% respectively.

Minda Industries has received an approval from its board to set up a 2 Wheeler Alloy Wheel Plant in Maharashtra, for supplies to OEMs. The outlay of the Project is approved for Rs 500 crore, which will be completed in two phases. In the first phase, Rs 300 crore will be undertaken within two years and thereafter the second phase will be undertaken. The start of production is expected from November, 2019. The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on September 25, 2018, approved the same.

Minda Industries offers a range of products across various verticals of auto components, such as switching systems, acoustic systems and alloy wheels, among others.
