Central Bank of India gains on planning to raise additional equity capital upto Rs 2354 crore

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 44.50, up by 0.70 points or 1.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 43.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 44.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 44.95 and Rs. 43.30 respectively. So far 56552 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 93.95 on 26-Oct-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 42.25 on 25-Sep-2018.

Central Bank of India is planning to raise additional equity capital up to Rs 2354 crore by issuance and allotment of equity shares to President of India (Government of India) on preferential basis subject to approval of Reserve Bank of India, Shareholders and other statutory authorities (if any). The meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank is scheduled to be held on September 28, 2018, to consider the same.
