IEX rises on achieving new record high trade of 306 MU

Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) is currently trading at Rs. 1607.30, up by 0.60 points or 0.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 1606.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1607.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1607.00 and Rs. 1605.55 respectively. So far 9 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1771.00 on 27-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1405.00 on 07-Mar-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1771.00 and Rs. 1572.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4872.90 crore.

The Institutions holding in the company stood at 44.09%, while Non-Institutions held 55.92% stake in the company.

Indian Energy Exchange has achieved all time high record volume of 306 MU (12,750 MW average round the clock basis) for delivery on September 29, 2018 marking the first triple century since inception of the Exchange in the year 2008. The average price discovered in the market is Rs 6.67 per unit.

The maximum sell bid in a 15 minute time block touched 15,782 MW, while the purchase bid touched 16,708 MW and the cleared volume reached as high as 13,983 MW.
