Bajaj Auto reports 17% rise in September sales

Bajaj Auto has registered a rise of 17% in total sales to 502,009 units in September 2018 against 428,752 units in September 2017. The company’s total exports out of the above stood at 190,506 units, a gain of 30% as compared to 146,973 units sold in the corresponding month last year.

The sales of the motorcycles increased by 17% and stood at 430,939 units in the month under review against 369,678 units in September 2017. The company has reported 20% jump in commercial vehicles sales, which stood at 71,070 units as compared to 59,074 units in month of September 2017.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
