Hero MotoCorp falls despite clocking 769,138 units sales in September

Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 2934.60, down by 37.85 points or 1.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 2972.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2992.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2997.85 and Rs. 2915.65 respectively. So far 7708 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3895.00 on 01-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2850.00 on 01-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3161.00 and Rs. 2850.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 58615.31 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.63%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 53.99% and 11.38% respectively.

Hero MotoCorp has sold 769,138 units of motorcycles and scooters in September 2018 its highest-ever sales in any single month. This is the 5th occasion overall, and the 3rd in the current fiscal (FY-19) in which the company has crossed the seven-lakh sales mark in a month. This is also the first time that a single two-wheeler company has surpassed the 750,000 mark in monthly sales.

Hero MotoCorp is an India-based holding company and a two-wheeler manufacturer. The company is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of motorized two-wheelers, spare parts and related services.
