The new segments are Performance Chemicals, Agri-Intermediates & Fertilizers, Pharmaceuticals and Home & Personal Care Chemicals. This reclassification of business segment will not have any financial impact on the company.
The Performance Chemicals consist of chemicals with applications into high performance polymers, paints, pigments, printing inks, rubber chemicals, additives, dyes, flavours & fragrances etc. while Agri-Intermediates & Fertilizers consist of chemicals with applications into crop protections & nutrients.
Further, Pharmaceuticals consist of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) while Home & Personal Care Chemicals consist of chemicals with applications into home, personal & oral care range of products such as shampoo, detergents, toothpaste etc.
