TVS Motor slips despite selling over 1 lakh units of Apache RTR 160 4V in six months

TVS Motor Company is currently trading at Rs. 529.70, down by 12.60 points or 2.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 542.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 539.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 539.70 and Rs. 524.65 respectively. So far 12245 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 794.90 on 02-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 507.35 on 31-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 591.90 and Rs. 525.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 25300.76 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.40%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.04% and 11.57% respectively.

TVS Motor Company’s new 160cc motorcycle offering TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has crossed the 1 lakh sales mark. Launched in March 2018, the motorcycle has achieved the milestone in a span of six months.
