M&M catches speed on inking strategic partnership with Castrol India

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is currently trading at Rs. 766.00, up by 35.80 points or 4.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 730.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 739.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 768.70 and Rs. 737.95 respectively. So far 45773 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 992.00 on 30-Aug-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 656.70 on 12-Oct-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 782.45 and Rs. 715.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 94817.35 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 21.66%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.42% and 22.92% respectively.

M&M has signed new strategic partnership agreement with Castrol India. Under this agreement, Mahindra will endorse a range of Castrol products which include aftermarket engine oils and transmission fluids for Mahindra tractors under the brand, ‘Mileage Ka Master’ (MKM).

M&M is the flagship company of the Mahindra Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Mumbai, India. Amongst the various business interests of its parent group, the company is mainly involved in the automobile manufacturing. It is one of the leading auto companies of India.
