Astron Paper shines on commencing commercial production of PM-2 at unit-1

Astron Paper & Board Mill is currently trading at Rs. 121.20, up by 3.85 points or 3.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 117.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 119.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 123.00 and Rs. 117.95 respectively. So far 35431 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 176.60 on 10-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 100.50 on 27-Jun-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 123.00 and Rs. 111.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 568.70 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.78%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.22% and 55.00% respectively.

Astron Paper & Board Mill’s PM-2 at unit-1 located at Halvad, Gujarat has commenced commercial production of kraft paper from October 15, having installed capacity of 33000 MT/year.

The company is currently operating at almost 90% capacity utilization of its PM-1 located at Halvad, with installed capacity of 96,000 MT per annum. With the commencement of commercial production for the new line PM-2, the installed capacity has increased by 33,000 MT/Year.

Astron Paper & Board Mill is engaged in the manufacturing of kraft paper (paperboard or cardboard). It comes up with the eco-friendly concept and working towards goal of converting waste in to wealth.
