Hero MotoCorp, India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer is planning to set up an integrated state-of-the-art research and development centre in Rajasthan. This center will be spread over 250 acres at Kukas in Jaipur and will be the largest two-wheeler R&D centre in the country.
On the standalone basis, the company has posted a rise of 10.32% in its net profit at Rs 615.46 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 557.89 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 9.95% at Rs 6247.28 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 5681.73 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.
