Ceat reports 18% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

Ceat has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2018.

The company has reported a fall of 9.79% in its net profit at Rs 75.32 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 83.49 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 13.82% at Rs 1,730.37 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 1,520.22 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 17.55% in its net profit at Rs 63.17 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 76.62 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 14.93% at Rs 1,757.88 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 1,529.48 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
