Lime Chemicals stops production at Roha unit

Lime Chemicals has stopped production at one of the manufacturing unit of the company at Roha, District Raigad, Maharashtra, as the workers resorted to illegal strike since October 26, 2018. The management has declared the strike of workers as illegal and accordingly production has stopped since October 26, 2018. However, workers involved in dispatching of finished products are not participating in the strike and has not affected the dispatch of finished products.

The company’s manufacturing unit at Paonta Sahib at Himachal Pradesh is working at its normal capacity.

Lime Chemicals is engaged in the production of precipitated calcium carbonate and it has varied applications in diverse industries like tooth paste, PVC, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, rubber formulations, paints, printing ink, cables. etc.
