Tata Power Company has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2018.
The company has reported 5-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 265.36 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 51.96 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 5.07% at Rs 1,961.50 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 2,066.21 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 88.47% rise in its net profit at Rs 335.77 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 178.16 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total consolidated income of the company increased by 6.14% at Rs 7,437.18 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 7,006.74 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
