Minda Corporation surges on reporting 6% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Minda Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 125.00, up by 4.75 points or 3.95% from its previous closing of Rs. 120.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 120.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 126.00 and Rs. 120.00 respectively. So far 9793 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 229.00 on 27-Dec-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 106.00 on 26-Oct-2018.

Minda Corporation reported a rise of 56.55% in its net profit at Rs 45.18 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 as compared to Rs 28.86 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 33.25 % at Rs 341.04 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 255.94 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 5.99% in its net profit at Rs 44.58 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 as compared to Rs 42.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.40% at Rs 784.61 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 657.13 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
