Acrysil surges on entering into agreement with Grohe

Acrysil is currently trading at Rs. 590.00, up by 15.60 points or 2.72% from its previous closing of Rs. 574.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 589.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 608.00 and Rs. 572.00 respectively. So far 10031 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 685.00 on 17-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 421.50 on 20-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 608.00 and Rs. 545.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 311.34 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.42%, while Non-Institutions held 57.57% stake in the company.

Acrysil has entered into an agreement for supply of Quartz Kitchen Sinks with Grohe, leading German Brand which is a part of Japanese major multi billions USD ‘LIXIL Group’. The agreement has potential to bring in additional revenues to the tune of around $7?8 million (around Rs 50-60 crore) in next 3 years.

Grohe has a global presence in 130+ countries and is a dominant player in Bathroom Solutions and Kitchen Fittings. The supply agreement with Acrysil, will mark their foray into the Quartz Kitchen Sinks segment.

Acrysil is a small company but enjoys a virtual monopoly in the organized Kitchen Sink business.
