Central Bank of India has raised Rs 2354 crore by allotting 35,43,57,970 equity shares of the face value of Rs 10 each at the issue price of Rs 66.43 per equity share including premium of Rs 56.43 per equity share determined as per SEBI ICDR Regulations, 2009 to President of India [Government of India (GoI)].
With this allotment, shareholding of President of India (GoI) has increased from 86.40% to 88.02%. The Capital Raising Committee of the Board of Directors of the Bank at its meeting held on November 13, 2018, allotted the same.
