NDTV gains on concluding stake sale in Special Occasions

New Delhi Television is currently trading at Rs. 35.00, up by 0.20 points or 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 34.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 35.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 35.00 and Rs. 35.00 respectively. So far 125 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 4 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 57.00 on 17-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 30.00 on 07-Jun-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 40.00 and Rs. 34.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 225.65 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.45%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.17% and 24.38% respectively.

New Delhi Television (NDTV) and its subsidiary company -- NDTV Convergence -- have completed the sale of entire stake in Special Occasions (SOL), another subsidiary of the company, to Wedding Junction (WJPL). Consequently, SOL has ceased to be a subsidiary of the company with effect from November 14, 2018.

NDTV operates as a television media company in India and internationally. Its channels offer news and current affairs, lifestyle, entertainment, and youth programs, as well as family and realty shows, chat shows, and period dramas.
