HDFC Bank to hike stake in CCIL

HDFC Bank will acquire 4% equity stake in Clearing Corporation of India (CCIL). The Bank currently holds 5% of the total equity capital of CCIL. Hence, it is proposed to increase the stake in CCIL from the current 5% to 9% from an investment perspective. The said acquisition is likely to be completed by end of December 2018.

HDFC Bank is one of India’s premier banks providing a wide range of financial products and services using multiple distribution channels including a pan-India network of branches, ATMs, phone banking, net banking and mobile banking.
