Bajaj Auto has registered a rise of 25% in total sales to 406,930 units in November 2018 against 326,458 units in November 2017. The company’s total exports out of the above stood at 172,112 units, a gain of 17% as compared to 146,623 units sold in the corresponding month last year.
The sales of the motorcycles increased by 31% and stood at 346,544 units in the month under review against 263,970 units in November 2017. The company has reported 3% fall in commercial vehicles sales, which stood at 60,386 units as compared to 62,488 units in month of November 2017.
Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
