Jet Airways trades in green on the bourses

Jet Airways (India) is currently trading at Rs. 283.50, up by 5.30 points or 1.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 278.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 285.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 288.55 and Rs. 282.25 respectively. So far 144496 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 883.65 on 05-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 163.00 on 01-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 316.60 and Rs. 275.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3160.28 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.51% and 39.49% respectively.

Jet Airways has sought a soft financing of $350 million from its investment partner Etihad Airways, as the airline continues to hold discussions with the latter to offload additional stake in the carrier.

In 2013, Etihad Airways had acquired 24% stake in the airline for Rs 2,060 crore, besides extending low-interest loan of $150 million as well as purchasing 50.1% stake in its loyalty programme JetPrivilege.
