Dena Bank surges on buzz to sell its real estate assets worth Rs 462 crore

Dena Bank is currently trading at Rs. 15.70, up by 0.20 points or 1.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 15.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 15.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 15.85 and Rs. 15.20 respectively. So far 57883 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 27.85 on 25-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 13.75 on 16-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 16.10 and Rs. 15.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3501.52 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 80.74%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.38% and 7.88% respectively.

Dena Bank has reportedly started the process of selling some of its real estate assets including properties housing its branches worth Rs 462 crore. This step comes after the government decision to merge the bank with Bank of Baroda and Vijaya Bank.
