Minda Industries gains on getting nod to acquire part business from Sensata Technologies

Minda Industries is currently trading at Rs. 323.65, up by 0.65 points or 0.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 323.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 324.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 325.15 and Rs. 323.50 respectively. So far 375 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 455.00 on 11-Jul-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 282.00 on 08-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 335.00 and Rs. 312.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8482.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.79%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.83% and 14.38% respectively.

Minda Industries has received approval for acquisition of Magnetic Speed & Position Sensors (Cam, Crank & TISS sensor products) business from Sensata Technologies, i.e. Business Transfer of CAM, Crank & TISS sensors, sharing of know-how, Technical support and Engineering support for 5 years. The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 22, 2018 has approved the same.

Minda Industries offers a range of products across various verticals of auto components, such as switching systems, acoustic systems and alloy wheels, among others.
